Upcoming Branding Changes

Beginning in January, all solutions under PerfectServe, including Lightning Bolt, will undergo rebranding in an effort to streamline and enhance the customer experience.

What does this mean for Lightning Bolt customers?

On January 9, 2025, Lightning Bolt’s new branding will be released, including visible changes to names, logos, and icons in the desktop and mobile applications. Please note, functionality will not be impacted—only the branding will change.

Resources have been created to support customers through the rebranding, including materials and visuals that can be used to update your internal documentation. Please review our support article and join us on December 12 at 11:00 AM PT, for a Lightning Bolt branding update webinar.

Create and Manage User Accounts:

When adding new personnel, remember to create corresponding user accounts so the user can access the system, view the schedule, and perform scheduling actions. Follow the steps outlined in this guide to create and manage user accounts.

Browser Tip

It is important to keep the latest approved internet browsers up to date to ensure an optimal Lightning Bolt experience. Here are the browsers and minimum versions we recommend: Chrome (87, or 89 and greater), Microsoft Edge (80 and greater), Firefox (84.0 and greater).

With integration, real-time on call schedules created and managed in Provider Scheduling powered by Lightning Bolt can be delivered directly to Spok MediCall’s call center platform. Locate on call providers quickly without pivoting to a different application, referring to out-of-date schedules, or manually entering schedules into Spok MediCall.

Release Notes

We have an application and mobile release scheduled for Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 5:30 PM PT. These releases will contain back-end updates and bug fixes for new View Manager.

  1. Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 5:30 PM PT:
    • New Feature: Beta access to our new View Manager interface.
      1. Highlights of the new interface include:
        1. Major performance improvements
        2. Support for multiple sorting levels in List views
    • Beta Period: Open for six weeks (May 20 – July 8). We’d love to hear your feedback!
    • Note: After the beta period, the current View Manager will be retired (July 8).
